David Emory is a political researcher and broadcaster whose California-based radio programs are heard on a regular basis in the United States, Canada and Europe.
Mr. Emory’s broadcasts focus on the U.S. military and intelligence community’s historical involvement with international fascism. Researching such national security establishment abuses as domestic and foreign political assassinations, and governmental complicity with organized crime and drug smuggling syndicates, Mr. Emory has distilled his academic research into an archival documentary format. These “archive” programs consist of excerpts from printed sources read during his broadcasts.
Mr. Emory’s programs have been featured on a regular basis on Pacifica stations KPFK (Los Angeles) and WBAI (New York), and many smaller stations. He has appeared as guest on major commercial stations including KGO-AM (San Francisco) and WLUP-AM (Chicago) and as an expert commentator on broadcast outlets in three continents. Audio cassette copies of the archive programs are also circulated internationally.
Mr. Emory began his work during the Watergate era when he noted numerous connections between that scandal and the assassination of President Kennedy. Pursuing his work on the JFK assassination, Mr. Emory discovered Nazi General Reinhard Gehlen’s Eastern front spy apparatus, and its incorporation into the CIA after World War II. This led Mr. Emory to study the origins of fascism and its influence on the contemporary world.
Mr. Emory graduated from Amherst College with a B.A. in psychology.

In the third of a series of talks, Dave Emory spoke to Jim DiEugenio in 2018 about the continuing search for the truth about the Kennedy Assassination, and why it matters to us today.
Over thirry years ago, before the ages of Obama and Trump, James DiEugenio wrote the first edition of Destiny Betrayed. In this second edition of Destiny Betrayed, he returns to familiar topics and introduces new information. What was the truth, and what were the lies? What were the inside politics of Kennedy’s America? This book is an investigative look at these questions and more. The author focuses equally on Kennedy and Garrison, providing a unique insight into the Garrison inquiry. DiEugenio updates all of the topics that he introduced in 1992 with the first edition of Destiny Betrayed. He has used the declassification process of the Assassination Records Review Board (ARRB) to gain the most current and accurate information on subjects including Clay Shaw and the Garrison investigation; US-Cuban policy from 1957.
